We deliver all our fuels directly to your coal bunker or log store. Our weekly and fortnightly delivery services cover Middlesex, Surrey, the Sussex borders, and South and South West London.
For added convenience, fuels can also be collected from our location in Sunbury on Thames.

Alan Cooke Sime
Delivering coal by horse and carriage
Clark’s Coal was founded in 1890 by Alan Cooke Sime, who began delivering coal to local homes and businesses by horse and cart. In those days, open fires were a lifeline — and Alan became a trusted face in the community, known for his reliability and hard work.
Tom Sime
Joined his father Alan – from horse and cart to lorries
In 1930, Tom Sime began working with his father Alan, helping deliver coal by horse and cart before moving onto lorries. During the summer months, when there was little call for coal, Tom ran a fruit and veg stand to keep the family business going — a true example of the hands-on, hard-working spirit that defines Clark’s Coal to this day.
Mick Clark
started working with his father in law Tom – continuing the legacy
By 1980, Tom’s son-in-law Mick had joined the business. Shortly after, Tom retired — and Mick continued the family tradition with the same dedication passed down through the generations
Justin & Henry Clark
Fifth generation – keeping the fire burning
When Mick retired in 2023, the reins were handed over to Justin and Henry Clark. As the fifth generation of the family to run Clark’s Coal, they’re proud to carry forward more than 130 years of honest, dependable service — still rooted in the same values the company was built on.
