Yes — all our fuels are suitable for use in smoke control areas, including our smokeless coal and Ecoal products.
What’s the difference between Ecoal and regular smokeless coal?
Ecoal is made using sustainable biomass, including 33% olive pips. It’s cleaner-burning and better for the environment, with a high heat output and low ash — ideal for your open fire or log burner.
How much heat do your smokeless fuels produce?
Our smokeless fuels, including Ecoal and Newheat, are known for high heat output and long burn times. They’re far more efficient than cheaper supermarket brands, making them ideal for those looking to heat their home economically.
How should I store my firewood and coal?
Always store your fuel in a dry, well-ventilated area such as a coal bunker or log store. Keeping it protected from rain and damp ensures your firewood burns efficiently and cleanly.
Do you supply businesses as well as households?
We do! We've been supplying local pubs, hotels, and restaurants (including Young’s pubs) for over 45 years. All enquiries are welcome.
What types of fuel do you supply?
We supply high-quality smokeless coal, kiln-dried logs, eco-friendly fuels like Ecoal (made from 33% olive pips), kindling, and firelighters. All fuels are suitable for use in smoke control areas.
Is your delivery really free?
Yes — free delivery is available on orders over 5 bags of coal or 10 bags of logs. We deliver directly to your coal bunker or log store, not just to the kerbside.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across Middlesex, Surrey, the Sussex borders, and South & South West London. That includes towns like Sunbury, Shepperton, Esher, Walton-on-Thames, and surrounding areas
Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes, collection is available from our site in Sunbury on Thames by prior arrangement. Please call ahead to confirm a time.
